Obituary Joan C. Householder, 88, of New Kensington died on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Platinum Ridge Nursing Home. She was born December 10, 1932 in Apollo to the late Marshall and Alma Tarr Rearick. She worked for West Penn Hat and Cap and was a member of the Eagles. Joan enjoyed flower gardening, going out for breakfast, and playing bingo with her sister-in-law, Darlene Jenniches. Survivors include four sons, James Householder, Jack Householder, Jeff Householder, and Jason Householder; one daughter, Mary Jane Mandak; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Rearick; and two sisters, Frances Taylor and Loraine Rearick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Blair R. Householder. Viewing will be on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 from 2-5 PM in the ROSS G.
