Mary Jo Zogg April 09, 1941 – December 08, 2020 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt & friend Mary “Mary Jo” Josephine (Clay) Zogg passed away with family by her side at Plains Regional Medical Center, in Clovis, New Mexico on December 8, 2020. She was born in Bridgeport, Nebraska on April 9, 1941. She was married to the love of her life Harry B. Zogg Sr. on September 5, 1958 in Torrington, Wyoming. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1956. She greatly enjoyed many years of faithful Pioneer service to Jehovah, sharing God’s Kingdom & His hope of an earthly paradise with anyone that would listen, alongside Harry Sr. She enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, traveling, cooking & feeding the ducks at the park. She & Harry Sr. would take many day trips through the years, talking & building a strong marriage. She is survived by: two sons; Rocky Sr. & wife Carol Zogg of Amarillo, Texas, and Harry & wife Jane Zogg of Parker, Colorado, one grandson; Rocky Zogg Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, three granddaughters; Katee & husband Doug Hamilton of Amarillo, Texas, Natasha & husband Andrew Peters of Clovis, New Mexico, and Johanna & husband Gerald Kilmer of Clovis, New Mexico, five great-granddaughters; Rakiya Hamilton, Razayla Hamilton, Kambrye Hamilton, Nataya Peters, and Anara Peters, three sisters; Ida & husband Louis Bauer, Monalisa Shimp, and Stella & husband Abraham Escamilla, one brother; Daniel & wife Patty Clay, and many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved Harry Zogg Sr, her son Ricky Dean Zogg, her parents: Theodore Sr. & Antonia “Toni” Clay. Her siblings: Dorothy Clay, Kathy Clay, Michael Clay & Theodore Clay Jr. Private services will be held at a later date.
