Elizabeth Ann Daugereaux February 24, 1939 – April 18, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Daugereaux, 81, of Orange, TX passed away on April 18, 2020 at Dogwood Trails Nursing Home in Woodville, Texas. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Egypt Cemetery in Colmesneil. Officiating will be Bro. Milton Powers. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kevin Pentecost, Richard Pentecost, Hunter LeBlanc and her great-grandsons, Justin Fountain, Mason Williams and Ethan Landry. Honorary pallbearer will be her grandson Blake Pentecost. Beth was born at home in Doucette, Texas on February 24, 1939 to Clyde Albert Johnson and Dorothy Poindexter Johnson, granddaughter to Napolean Bonepart Poindexter and Vinnie Elizabeth Smyly Poindexter, Lamar Smith Johnson and Ann Elizabeth Lawhon Johnson. She was a resident of Orange for most of her life and owned her own salon for a time. Beth loved her children and grandchildren dearly and always had two, if not more, of them with her at all times. She believed in second chances and had a huge heart. Her greatest gift was her desire to help others no matter the need. Beth leaves behind a legacy of compassion, generosity and love. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, William Keith Pentecost; her infant brother, Clyde A. Johnson, sister, Dorothy Louise Johnson; sisters-in-law, Lisa Johnson and Beverly Johnson; daughter-in-law, Mildred “Millie” Loriene Pentecost and granddaughter, Bethany Brooke Ray. She is survived by her husband John “Blackie” Wallace Daugereaux, brothers Jimmy Clyde Johnson, Sr. of Onalaska, and Eddie Lamar Johnson, Sr. of Orange; her children, Ricky Lynn Pentecost and wife Jamey of Fannett, Bobby Wayne Pentecost and wife Carla of Colmesneil, Michael Kent Pentecost of Colmesneil, Sharon Joyce Pentecost of Orange, Chance Arlen Daugereaux, Sr. of Texas City, Robert Jason Daugereaux and wife Carrie of Barbers Hill; her grandchildren, Torri Michelle Pentecost of San Antonio, Karen Lynn Landry and husband Shane of Nederland, Kevin Wayne Pentecost and wife Mindy of Damon, Samuel Blake Pentecost and wife Melissa of California, Erica Paige Pentecost and fiancé Zach of Orange, Richard Keith Pentecost of Fannett, Ashley Summer Campbell and husband Robby of Orange, Rebecca Ann Legendre and husband Charles of Beaumont, Johnathon Hunter Kent LeBlanc of Orange, Chance Arlen Daugereaux, Jr. of Texas City, Misty Lynn Campos and husband Will of Texas City, Cody Allen Daugereaux of Texas City and Jason Alex Daugereaux of Texas City; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
