William Elliott (Billy) Woodside II passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at 10:15pm at his home in Brooksville, Florida, with his wife at his bedside. He was born August 16, 1955 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a 1973 Hernando High Graduate. He is preceded in death by his father, B.J. Woodside. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Wallen Woodside; his son, Vaughn M. Woodside and his children McKenzie and Easton; four stepchildren, Mark Gordon, Crystal Cloud, Pamela Becker and Melissa Gordon; his mother, Aleta Woodside; brothers, Michael Woodside (Billie Jean) and Vaughn Woodside; sister, Lawrie Cummins; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, with Mike Woodside officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Billy’s name to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
