Stephen Alfred Persinger, 62, of Oak Hill, passed away, July 28, 2019. He was born in Montgomery, WV, to Phyllis Jean Persinger and the late George Samuel Persinger Sr. Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Lindsay Dalton, and Joshua and Ryan Persinger, his grandchildren; Kaylee, Layla, Curtis, Davey and Jaylan and his longtime girlfriend, Brenda Jeffries and her daughters; Ginger Payne, Regina Gilliam, Nellie Lesher and Erica Payne. Stephen will be missed by his siblings; Sam, Martha and David Persinger. Stephen was a lifetime resident of the local area and worked for C Adam Toney Tire Pros. Per Stephen’s wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff of Bowers Hospice House for all of the care and kindness.
