Gloria Heimer Miller, age 92, of Flemington , PA passed away July 26, 2019 at the Gatehouse Hospice in Williamsport surrounded by her family. Gloria was born in Lock Haven, PA, May 11, 1927 to the late Paul and Mildred Miller Heimer. She was united in marriage to Stewart E. Miller June 28, 1947, he passed away October 29, 2005. Gloria was a 1945 graduate of the Lock Haven High School, she had worked for the US Navy in Cape Cod, Massachusetts for a period of time. Upon moving back to the area she had worked at the former Bell Telephone, the Sylvania Plant in Mill Hall and the Lock Haven A&P. She had also been a longtime life member of the Lock Haven First Church of Christ. Gloria enjoyed gardening, flower arranging and playing bingo with her friends later in life. She also loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her son; S. Kirk (Dee) Miller of Millersburg, a daughter; Candace (David) Sheasley of Hughesville, a brother; Craig Heimer of Mill Hall, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren a step great-great grandson and two step great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Miller and a brother; Dean Heimer. Funeral services for Gloria H. Miller will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC, 121 W. Main St. Lock Haven, PA. Officiating will be her Pastor Steve Salmon Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Park. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
