Robert’s Obituary Robert “Bob” W. Ewing 80 of Columbus, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness June 28, 2019. Born February 25, 1939 in Augusta, Kentucky. Preceded in death by parents Chester “Chet” and Kathleen “Kitty” Ewing. Survived by loving wife of 60 years Marianne Polder. Children Mark (Stacy) of Cincinnati, David (Kandi) of Celina, Joseph (Stacy) of Lancaster, Mary K. (Frank) Fusco of Columbus and Matthew (Stacey) of Ashville, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. 1957 graduate of Chaney High School, Youngstown Ohio. Retired former owner of Ewing Landscape Services. Former member of Saint Stephen the Martyr and current long time member of Saint Brendan the Navigator church in Hilliard where he and Marianne regularly volunteered as Eucharistic Ministers at the 12:15 mass. He enjoyed camping trips, fishing and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. Friends received Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 10 AM until 12 PM at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 South High Street, where the Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon, luncheon directly following the service. Father Bob Penhallurick Officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Read More
