Nancy’s Obituary Nancy Blanton Tucker, 82, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Born November 30, 1936, 1936 in Mt. Holly, NC, a daughter of the late Clyde and Irene (Harper) Blanton of Stanley, NC. Nancy was an executive housekeeper in the hospitality industry for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother of five. She loved her family and loved being with them. She also enjoyed fishing and playing cards with family and friends. Her quiet time was spent reading the Bible, playing games, coloring and working puzzles on her I-Pad. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Tucker, Jr. and two daughters, Linda T. Kopelic and Sherry Stoneking, both of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Ted Blanton of Belmont, NC; two sisters, June Richards of Mt. Holly, NC and Wenda “Jill” Mason of Myrtle Beach, SC. Survivors include a son, Michael Tucker (Beth) of Socastee, SC; two daughters, Janice Ridgeway (John) of Conway, SC, Shanna Sanchez (Nicholas) of Longs, SC; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Myrtle Beach, Funeral Home, 4505 Hwy 17 Bypass S., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Thomas Grainger officiating.
