Mary Frances McLemore of Boerne, Texas, age 86, went to be with her Lord on June 15th 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 29, 1933 in Ennis, Texas, the daughter of the late O. A. Grant Sr. and Annie Mary Elliott Grant. Mary was formerly of Ennis, Waxahachie, Irving, and Hideaway Texas before moving to Boerne in 2013. She attended Baylor University to study music and worked many years for the Irving ISD. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jessie Leon McLemore Jr, sister, Katherine Grant Spencer and brother, O. A Grant Jr, all of Ennis Texas. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Denise and Robert Hughes of Carrollton, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Karen McLemore of New Braunfels, Texas and daughter and son-in-law Kathryn and Dan Gorham of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas; and by six grand-children, Justin Hughes, Hannah McLemore Laning, Katelyn McLemore Gordon, Michael McLemore, Emily Gorham Caltrider, and Mark Gorham; and by three great-grandchildren Grant McLemore, Gemma and Eliza Gordon. Mary loved her family and enjoyed square dancing, games, choir, and church activities. Those who knew Mary will remember her for her sense of humor, love of music, and her beautiful singing voice. A service will be held at Hideaway Lake Community Church, Hideaway, Texas on June 24, 2019 at 4:00 pm. Visitation begins at 3:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at DFW National Cemetery on June 25, 2019 at 11:15 am. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Caltrider, Mark Gorham, Justin Hughes, Nicholas Laning, Michael McLemore, and Wayne McLemore.
