Jami’s Obituary Jami Gayle Thompson, 59, of Topeka, KS died July 3, 2019 at the University of Kansas Medical Center St. Francis Campus. She was born November 30, 1959 the daughter of Larry and Linda (Ferrin) Jackson. Jami was an Estee Laurder Cosmetic Salesperson at Macy’s and later at Dillards. She is survived by her mother, Linda Womack, a sister, Lori Sedgwick and her husband, Layne and their children, Dusty, Shayne and Luke of Oak Grove, MO, two brothers, Mark Jackson, wife, Renee and their children, Cody and Tanner of Mesa, AZ, Jeff Jackson, his wife, Amanda and their children, Nick, Mathias, Brianna and McKenzie of Junction City, KS. Great-nephews, Ryder and Mason Sedgwick, and soon to be born twins, Sawyer and Sutton Jackson, along with her three beloved dogs, Bailey, Piper, and Jackson also survive. She will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Friday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where her family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 801 SW Westchester RD, Topeka. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Helping Hands Humane Society or the American Lung Association sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
