Luna Walker March 26, 2019 – June 29, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Life Journey “For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, and eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.” 2 Corinthians 5:1 On June 29, 2019 the second child of Hampton and Orr Nash heard her call from the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and she answered while at the Tupelo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center LLC in Tupelo, Mississippi. Her earthly work had been completed. Luna Walker has received everlasting life, a building from God, a house not made with hand, and eternity in heaven. Luna was born in the City of Macon, Mississippi to the union of her parents on March 26th. She was united in Holy wedlock to Hobbie Walker unto this union four children were born. She was a member of New Providence Missionary Baptist Church where she remained faithful until her health began to fail her, and she also once served as a choir member. She was an retire employee of Modern Cleaners. She was an devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, who had the passion for shopping, traveling, gardening and cleaning all the time. Her everlasting memories will be forever cherished by her four children, Mary Thomas and Lashunda Homla of Tupelo, Mississippi, Larry Walker and Elderidge Walker of Detroit, Michigan, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
