Iva’s Obituary Iva Lavern Groce, 81 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Groce was born in Austinville, VA to the late Estel and Ellen King Freeman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Groce. Survivors include her children and spouses, Larry and Susan Keith of Dugspur, Debra and Craig Hopkins of Clemmons, NC, Jeffrey and Tracey Keith of Woodlawn, and Tom Groce of Wytheville; sisters, Alma Alderman of Hillsville and Treva Hawks of Mount Airy, NC; brother, Glen Freeman of Laurel Fork; grandchildren, Jennifer Stone, Leanna Stone, Courtney Busby, Noah Groce, and Zackary Keith; two great-grandchildren, Abby Mitchell and Cooper Mitchell; and three step-grandchildren, Whitney Smith, Isaac Dalton, and Weston Smith. A graveside service with burial will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery at 12:00 PM with Wilma Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family. Read More
