Edward J. “Duke” Young, 75, Seltzer, died Wednesday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospice , Allentown. Born March 3, 1944 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Edward P. and Ella (Gombola) Young. Duke was a member of the Seltzer Hose Co. and the Seltzer Gun Club. He was also an avid golfer. He was a roller operator retiring from Tropp Contracting and the Highway Department of PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Shappell. He is survived by a sister Eleanor Fleming, Pottsville and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services and interment will be held on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven.
