Dorothy Ann Evans Solomon, went home to be with our Lord on July 15, 2019. Dorothy was born on September 19, 1938 to Willie and Lucille Evans in White Pine. She was the mother of five children; Elizabeth (Paul) Coffey, Jackie (Dave) Hooker, Gavanda (Eddie) Cadena, Keith (Deanna) Hill and Franklin “BB” (Janet) Hill, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy was most proud of her family and was a positive influence on them. Dorothy was a happy friendly person who never met a stranger. She always had a smile on her face and a laugh that was contagious to all in hearing distance. She will be missed by all her loved ones. “Words can’t describe what a wonderful person Dorothy was, but we all have gotten an angel to watch over us, “Rest In Peace” our dear mother.” Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, 7:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with Dave Hooker officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm prior to the service. Graveside Interment will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019, 10:00am in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, everyone is asked to gather at the cemetery no later than 9:45am for the service.
