DeAnna’s Obituary DeAnna L. Tubbs was born Feb. 20, 1956 in Neosho, MO, the daughter of Billy and Lois (Hatcher) Burress. She entered into rest on July 3, 2019 at the age of 63. She was a lifelong resident of the Granby-Diamond area. DeAnna graduated from East Newton High School in 1974 and from Crowder College in 1988. She had worked in the Diamond and Neosho School systems. DeAnna owned and operated the Toybox Daycare in Diamond for several years until her health started to fail. She was a member of the Silver Moon Full Gospel Church south of Diamond. DeAnna loved kids, her flower gardens, and her fur-baby, Miley. DeAnna married Randy Tubbs on Dec. 31, 1977; he survives of the home. She is also survived by their two sons, Dusty (Holly) Tubbs of Verona, MO and Cody Tubbs of Republic, MO; one granddaughter, Burgundy of Verona; two sisters, Sandy Blanchard of Granby and Kara Burress of Richey, MO; two brothers, Boon Burress of Granby, and Rob Burress of Joplin; and her Aunt Sug McCullough of Granby. DeAnna was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held 10 am Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, Granby, MO. Pastor Phil Barber will officiate. Following services, DeAnna will be taken for cremation. A time of visitation will be held at the Granby Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5:30 until 6:30 pm.
