Billy’s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Billy James Hull will begin at 11:00 am Friday, July 12, 2019 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rob Gill officiating with Dr. Rhett G. Payne, III and Rev. Morris Thompson, III assisting. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Mr. Hull, 74, of Meridian passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. After graduating from Mississippi State University, Mr. Hull began his career in John Deere equipment sales in 1970. He retired as territory sales manager with Stribling Equipment Company in 2017. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Hull enjoyed hunting and fishing all over the country. But more than anything, Mr. Hull was devoted to his family and dear friends. Mr. Billy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Harris Hull; daughters, Gena Dye (Brad) and Dana Van Veckhoven (Michael). Grandchildren Tate and Dan Dye and Billy and Lucy Van Veckhoven. Mother-in-law, Lucille Harris; brother-in-law, Dan Harris, Jr. (Beth); nephew, Wes Harris (Susie) as well as two great nieces, numerous cousins, and many lifelong friends. Mr. Hull is preceded in death by his parents Billy G and Frances Parker Hull and father-in-law, Dan Harris, Sr. Pallbearers will be L.M. “Poo” Chancellor, Brad Dye, Dan Dye, Wes Harris, David Mullens, Mike Peterson, Billy Van Veckhoven, and Michael Van Veckhoven.
