Michael Ray-Anthony Folkner passed away at the age of 22 on Monday, December 14, 2020 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on September 15, 1998 in Muncie, Indiana to Brenton Shane Folkner and Salena Marie Thompson. Michael graduated from Delta High School in Muncie. He went on to work in production for KOA USA. He attended Muncie Christian Ministries on East Main Street in Muncie. Michael is survived by his father, Brenton Shane Folkner of Muncie; mother, Salena Marie Thompson (James) of Charleston, Tennessee; fiance, Katy Hampton of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughters, Charlee Folkner and Maggie Folkner (his best friend) of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers, Brenton Folkner of Anderson, Indiana, Brandon Folkner of Muncie, Devin Pugh of Muncie, Nathan Brosio of Muncie, and Luke Schliessman of Muncie; sisters, Alicia Folkner of Anderson, Caitlyn Folkner of Anderson, Tori Folkner of Muncie, and Hunter Gates of Muncie; grandparents, Alice Beall (James) of New Castle, Indiana and Pamela and Earl Nickerson of Alexandria, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends. Services will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home and Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. Per Governor Holcomb, effective Monday, November 22, 2020, Garden View Funeral Home and Gardens of Memory Cemetery are limited to a maximum of 25 people wearing masks inside or outside.
