JOHN PETER ZOPFI May 13, 1933 – Nov. 25, 2020 John Peter Zopfi II, 87 of Fairfield, California passed away on Nov. 25, 2020. John was born in St. Helena, California on May 13, 1933. He graduated from St. Helena High School where he was a notable track star. After high school he served in the U.S. Army for two years. John was married to Leota Imogene Zopfi on Sept. 18, 1955. They were married for 65 years. John worked as an electrician, then obtained his contractor’s license. Later he became an entrepreneur owning several businesses, restaurants and Real Estate. John’s hobbies included cooking, deer hunting and mushroom hunting. John is loved by his family and will be greatly missed. John is survived by his four children; 13 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. John is preceded in death by the love of his life, Leota, who passed just four months prior.
