Thelma Rust March 25, 1930 – April 01, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Thelma Rust of Grove City passed peacefully in Orchard Manor on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. She was 90. Thelma was born in the Village of Amsterdam, Liberty Twp., Mercer Co., on March 25, 1930 to Earl C. and Edith (Buxton) Heasley. She married Robert J. Rust on March 26, 1949; he preceded her in death on April 7, 1994. She was a longtime member of North Liberty Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the church quilting group and the Liberty Belles and Bills. Thelma was a homemaker and formerly was a cook at the Odd Fellows Home now Orchard Manor. Thelma enjoyed traveling, quilting, gardening and going to flea markets. Her four children were most important to her. Survivors include, 2 daughters, Linda Green, Boardman, OH and Sue Seelbaugh, Grove City, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, 2 sons, Randal L. “Randy” and Daniel T. Rust, a grand daughter, a great grand daughter, and 3 brothers, Earl “Junior”, James and John Heasley preceded Thelma in death. Memorials to North Liberty Presbyterian Church, 209 North Liberty-Plain Grove Road or North Liberty Cemetery Association, 110 Winfield Drive, Both Grove City, PA 16127. Services are private.
