Graveside services for Shawn Shannon, 36, of Gilmer, Tx are scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, April 24, 2020 at Grice Cemetery with Bro. Donnie Chamberlain officiating. He was born February 6, 1984, to Danny Shannon and D’Lorah Dawn Anderson Shannon in Pittsburg, Texas and passed from this life April 20, 2020. Shawn was a loving father, dedicated husband, a wonderful brother, son, and grandson. He was loved by everyone he knew and a loyal friend to many. He was known for his hard work ethic at work and at home. He was always happy, fun spirited, and lived life each day to the fullest. Shawn worked as a coil tubing supervisor for Trican America. He was baptized at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Haley Brooke Stewart; his mother, D’Lorah Shannon; his children, Jayden Michelle Shannon, Jake Riley Shannon, and Addyson Grace Woodfin; sisters, Stephanie Dru Davis, and Kristi Houze; and by his grandmother, Anita Lange. He is preceded in death by his father, Danny Shannon. Pallbearers will be Scott Poole, Nick Ross, Brady Henson, Matt Jones, Michael Langford, Chase Wall, and Bryan Wall.
