His other son, Jeffrey was unable to make to make the trip. Both sons live in Texas now. Richard had spent the last few yrs. Recovering from a traumatic brain injury and then lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his wife , Juanita Ruth. He enjoyed taking his RV up to his property to camp with his family. They enjoyed riding the four wheelers everywhere around the land and to town. His free time was always spent with his family. He loved to go out to eat and shopping everywhere. He went to Cass Tech to learn the printing press, but left that for truck driving with his stepdad. HE then started driving for Mayflower, helping people move. Richard then bought his own truck for a while, but eventually he got a job with UPS. He loved working for them and drove cross country for them until he retire. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.
