Obituary Gene Thomas Peacock, 81, of New Madrid, MO., passed away March 6, 2020 at his home in New Madrid, after a long fight with cancer. He was born October 7, 1938, in Como, MO., to the late Albert and Ethyl Crews Peacock. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and was a Master Picture Framer in St. Louis and Harlam, Georgia until retiring. His biggest joys were spending time with his family and friends. He loved to travel on his Harley and was proud to say that he earned his Million Mile Patch. He wanted to say thank you for the memories traveling the United States with Terry McCorkle, Harold Gay and Paul Bennett. He was a proud member of the Master City Riders. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by: wife Kelsia Hill Peacock, two sons, Thomas “Tony” Peacock and Randall “Aaron” Peacock, grandson, Michael Steven Pyle, three brothers, William, John, and Lonnie Peacock, and two sisters, Nola Richmond and Melba Peacock. Survivors include: one son, Christopher (wife, Karen) Peacock of Belleville, IL., two daughters, Debra (husband, Bill) Adams of Potosi, MO., and Stephanie (husband, Jim) Smith of Dupo, IL., daughter-in-law, Sara Peacock, Companion, Helen Reed, sisters-in-law, Evelyn Peacock of New Madrid and Faye Peacock of Dexter, MO., 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
