Coeta’s Obituary Coeta Isbell, 91, passed peacefully from this life on March 6, 2020 at Linwood Nursing Home in Cushing, OK. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Cushing Christian Church, 302 S. Linwood Avenue. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing. Coeta was born February 7, 1929 in Jennings, Oklahoma to parents Marvin and Dollie (Yeager) Estes. She was raised in Jennings/Terlton area where she attended school. On August 18, 1945 she married the love of her life Myron Avery Isbell in Payne County near Norfolk School. They enjoyed over 44 years of marriage until Myron’s passing. Coeta was known far and near for being an excellent cook and baked many wedding cakes in the area. She worked at Pope’s Grocery Store for many years and was an active member of Yale Town and Country Christian Church teaching Bible School. She was the model homeroom mother always baking cookies for the girl’s classrooms and helping throw their parties growing up. She is preceded in death by her husband Myron, her loving parents; grandson, Corey McCrackin; great granddaughter, Haley McCrackin; and one sister, Naoma Tarpley. Coeta is survived by her daughters, Donna and husband Darrel Wood of Sand Springs, Myra and husband Jim McCrackin of Cushing, and Melony Dalton of Yale; one sister, Winona Waugh; grandchildren, Douglas Wood, Shelly Skinner, Angela Wood, Mika McCrackin, Dustin Watkins, and Lacey Brown; great grandchildren, Mitchell Wood, Chrystall Dill, Bailey Skinner, Nate Wood, Natalie Brown, Ashlynn Brown, Chloe Brown, and Kylea Bridges; great great grandchildren, Macey Bridges, Kambrie McCrackin, and Skylar Bridges.
