Gail’s Obituary Gail Ann Brown, 68, of Monett, MO, was called to her Heavenly home on Friday, March 13, 2020, while living at the Cassville Health Care and Rehab in Cassville, MO. Gail was born February 15, 1952 in Cassville, MO, daughter of the late Kenneth and Ethlyn Corn. She was raised in Cassville. On January 5, 1974, Gail was united in marriage to Larry Edwin Brown, and he survives. Together they shared forty-six years while raising their family in Monett. Gail was a hairdresser in Monett for over forty years. She began her career at The Charm Shop and finished at Our Place, retiring several years ago. She saw many of her clients for generations, from their first hair cut, to Prom up-do’s, to wedding veils, and genuinely enjoyed being part of their lives. Gail enjoyed decorating her home and making the holidays special for her family. She was passionate about Christmas and proudly displayed her Santa Claus collection year-round. Gail was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monett, where she especially enjoyed her Sunday school group. In addition to her loving and devoted husband, Larry, Gail is survived by her three children and their families: Shawn and Rachelle Brown and their daughters, Deidre, Adelyn and Emerie, of Pierce City; Jason and Darcy Brown and their children, Jacob, Joshua, Josie and Jaxson, of Aurora; and Heather Hensley, of Springfield and her sons, Nathan and Ethan Hensley, of Pierce City. Gail is also survived by her brother, Gary and Renea Corn and brothers-in-law, Doug Brown and Ty and Connie Brown, all of Cassville, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Sharon Kay (Linton) Parrish. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Buchanan Funeral Home. Reverend Robert Bradow will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Comfort Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
