Obituary for Woodford Wesley Peters MATTAWAMKEAG – Woodford Wesley Peters, 86, of Mattawamkeag, ME went peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, July 12, 2019. He was a dedicated husband and father with a gift for humor and storytelling. Woodford is survived by his wife of 61 years, Beulah Peters, and his 5 children; Cheryl Carver, Ray Peters, Wanda Rideout, Joel Peters and April Moore. Woodford was pre-deceased by brother, Maurice (Dick) Peters; and survived by siblings Patricia Albert, Vaughn Peters, Donna Heath, and Maxine Heath. Woodford is also survived by his 7 grand-children and 1 great grand-child. Viewings and funeral will be held at the Mattawamkeag Church of God. Viewings will be held on Wednesday, July 17 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Thursday, July 18 from 1:00-2:00p.m. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, with the internment following at the Mattawamkeag Cemetery.
