William “Bill” Inman Wahnon, 70, passed away June 29, 2019. A native of Rome, Georgia, son of the late Odell Goodwin and Ethel Wood Wahnon, he was a U.S. Navy Corpsman during Vietnam where he earned the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. He also was a retired employee of Veterans Affairs. Surviving are his wife, Donna Simpson Bishop of the home; a daughter, Angela Larson of Tennessee; a son, Dillon Wahnon of South Carolina; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is at the home.
