He was born to Alfred I. and Mary Thornton Agan on August 22, 1935 in Titus County. Bunny was a member at New Beginning Baptist Church where he served as deacon, Masonic Lodge, Odd Fellows, Rebecca Lodge and Scottish Rite. Mr. Agan served in the United States Army. His hobbies included working in his yard and fishing. Mr. Agan is survived by his wife Roxie Hutson Agan of Mt Pleasant, Sons; Steve Agan and wife Cathy of Mt Pleasant, Brad Agan and wife Kim of Mt Pleasant, Rocky Agan and wife Anna of Frisco, Randy Agan and wife Liz of Vernon, TX., Grandchildren; Jennifer Agan Hatfield, Bryan and Stefanie Heintz, Kristan Crawford and husband Jody, Britt Agan, Matthew Agan, PFC Ryan Agan US Army, Marshall Agan and wife Cara, Madison Agan and Jace Weigle, Megan Agan and Josh Shidler, Great Grandchildren; Canaan Hatfield, Fallon Hatfield, Farran Hatfield, Adalyn Heintz, Brayden Heintz, Heath Crawford, Bradley Crawford, William Shidler, Liam Shidler, Brother in law; Michael Irvin of CT, Sister in law; Sandy Agan of Mt Pleasant and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parent, brother; Bob Agan and Sister; Judy Irvin. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel with Bro Bill Whitaker officiating, burial following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 6:00 -8:00 PM. Family request donations to be made to the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, St Jude Children’s Hospital or Gideons.
