William’s Obituary William Acia Stokes was born on December 22, 1936 in East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the son of the late Raleigh Stokes and Bertha Ward Stokes. He was united in marriage to Ruth Bowling Stokes who survives of London. He was also survived by a daughter, Billie Stokes Goldsberry and Husband James of East Bernstadt; three siblings, Charles Robert Stokes of East Bernstadt; Shirley Stokes Brown and Raleigh Stokes, Jr. both of London; two grandchildren James Magnum and Billie Leilani Goldsberry; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. William was retired from the United States Army and a member of East Bernstadt Church of God. William Acia Stokes departed this life on Saturday, July 27, 2019 being 82 years, 7 months and 5 days of age. Read More
