Whit Holman January 26, 1958 – July 14, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Henry Whitmarsh Holman Jr., age 61, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019, at his home from a brief illness. Mr. Holman was born January 26, 1958, in Texarkana, Texas. He was the co-owner along with his wife Debbie of Fun Pools and Spas in Texarkana since 1990. Whit was an outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman. Whit loved his dogs, Summer, Heidi, Hot Rod, and Dog, and spending time at his cabin working his land for wildlife preservation. In his younger days, he was a competition water-skier and bow fisherman. He was always excited about passing his competitiveness and outdoor skills to his children, grandchildren, and friends. We would like to thank family, friends, and Hospice of Texarkana for all of your love and support. He was preceded in death by his mother, Zita Hawley Holman; his father, Henry Whitmarsh Holman; and his father-in-law, David Riley Adams. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Debbie; daughter, Taylor Holman; stepson, Bryan Wilhite and wife Jill; their children, Brooks and Beckett Wilhite of Buckeye, AZ; stepson, Clay Wilhite and wife Morgan; their children, Maddox and Monroe Wilhite of Texarkana, Arkansas; his brother, Hawley Holman of Texarkana, Texas; his sisters, Zita Cleland of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Susie Holman of San Diego, California; mother-in-law, Joan Adams of Texarkana, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Ron Adams and wife Linda of Texarkana, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Vicky Carreon of Texarkana, Arkansas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm, Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
