Walter Henry Proctor May 14, 2019 – July 03, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Walter Henry Proctor, age 80 of Clifford passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at United Hospice of Marlette Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Walter was born May 14, 1939 in Detroit to the late Orville and Ethel (Dukhuizen) Proctor. He married Karen Chappel on November 19, 2004 in Clifford. Walter retired in 2004 as a Union Heavy Equipment Operator. He enjoyed race car driving, digging many different ponds and spending time in his man cave but most importantly he loved spending time with his family. Walter is survived by his wife, Karen; seven children, Walter Proctor Jr., Thomas (Bridgette) Proctor, Steven (Kelly) Proctor, Phillip (Deb) Perry, Kimberly (Curt) Copeland, Christine (Mike) Proctor and Todd (Debbie) Proctor; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren with one on the way; three siblings, Marie Wilcox, John “Jack” (Betty) Proctor and Orvella “Jo” Eldridge. He was preceded in death by one sister, Gayle and one brother, Clifford “Pete.” A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to United Hospice of Marlette Regional Hospital.
