Vienna Kay Thomas, 77, of New Martinsville, WV died Monday, July 29, 2019 while at Sistersville Center in Sistersville, WV. Kay was born March 31, 1942 in Wileyville, WV; daughter of the late Clarence Eugene McConnell and Coral (Sapp) McConnell Hohman. She was a retired CNA for Wetzel County Hospital, a fan of Wheeling Downs, loved her Pepsi, chocolate and pizza. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Bill” William Thomas; sister, Erma Moore; brother, Jerry McConnell; sisters-in-law, Sharon McConnell and Betty Wade and brother-in-law, Charlie Hendricks. Surviving are her sister, Scheri (Mark) Huggins of Wileyville, WV; several nieces and nephews that she loved as if they were her own children; brother-in-law, Jim Moore of Wileyville, WV; sister-in-law, Dorothy Hendricks and several cousins. At Kay’s request there will no services. Burial to take place at the convenience of the family in the Potts Cemetery near Long Valley, WV.
