Trudy Woodland-Gangwer, 74, of Bellevue passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Eden Springs Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 5, 1944 in Rising Sun, Ohio the daughter of Chance and Laura (Drake) Gangwer. Trudy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren laughing, joking, and telling stories. She was a believer in Christ and was active in the church, she especially loved singing. She was a member of the choir, and a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed children and lover job as a bus driver, especially the years with the Flat Rock kids. She drove for Bellevue Schools for 20 years. Her hobbies included decorating cakes, crafting, doing flower arrangements, and breeding Shih Tzu puppies. She is survived by her three children: Jerry (Wendy) Woodland of Clyde, Melissia (Kurt) Humbert of Republic, and Laura Moyer of Bellevue; 9 grandchildren: Matt, Nick, Alicia, Ty, Tara, Myles, Garrett, Grant, and Myah; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings: Helen Buehning, Laurie Engler, and William Gangwer. Trudy is preceded in death by her parents, Chance and Laura Gangwer; great grandchild, Kayelynn LaRee Howell; and siblings, Robert Gangwer, Sara Wildman, Dean Goon, and Frederick Gangwer. Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 3 p.m. until a memorial service begins at 5 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 148 White Street, Clyde, Ohio 43410.
