Mr. Tito Gonzales Garcia, age 83, of Cedartown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 with his family by his side. He was born in Thorndale, Texas on June 29, 1936. He was a son of his late parents, Susano Garcia and Maria Gonzalez. He was raised in Dallas, Texas before moving to Toledo, Ohio where he spent most of his adult life. Mr. Garcia moved to Cedartown several years ago to be close to his family. Mr. Garcia had a passion for singing, story telling and reading the Bible except when Family Feud was on TV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Susano Garcia and Maria Gonzales; sisters, Trine, Francis, Sofia and Josey; brothers, Abel, Manual, Felix, and Mararito; 1st wife, Mary Jesse Ramirez; 2nd wife, Delorise Hemmings; sons, Eddie Garcia and Tito Garcia, Jr. and a great granddaughter, Briana Brown. Mr. Garcia was survived by his children, Cecelia Garcia Belman, Anita Garcia and Tita Garcia Medillin; 12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren and brother, Richard Garcia. Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Friday, July 5, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home with no formal service following the visitation. The Smith & Miller Funeral Home of Cedartown is honored to serve the family of Mr. Tito Gonzales Garcia.
