Beloved husband for 50 years of the late Shirley (nee Newton), loving father to Betsy Allen and Cindy Allen, adored grandfather of Emily. Graduated from Rocky River High School (Class of ’45), Ohio University, and University of Miami Law School. Proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. A lifelong resident of Rocky River where he practiced law for over 50 years, including serving as Law Director for the city from 1963-75. He was co-owner of Weber’s Custard Stand for many years. Our dad always saw the best in everyone and every situation. His positive attitude and caring nature earned him numerous friends throughout his life. Days before his death he said “I wish I could go back to the start and do it all again because it was just SO much fun”. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined. Interment will be private.
