Theresa M. Bazis 79, of Berwick Pa; went to be with the Lord, Friday July 12, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 17, 1939, in Philadelphia Pa; a daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia (Klimczak) Szary, in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John M “The Tin Man” Bazis Jr; who died on March 5, 2016. Theresa was a graduate of West Catholic High School for girls. She enjoyed search puzzles, crochet, loved animals and loved to be outside where she enjoyed long walks. Theresa is survived by five children, Steven J, Bazis and his wife Sandy of Cantonment Florida, Christine Carr and her husband Lynn of Berwick, Loretta Berry and her husband Stephen of Castle Rock Colorado, Michael J. Bazis of Fair Oaks California and Melissa Bazis of Rocksboro Colorado. As well as eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and sister Dolores and her husband James Racz of Glen Mills Pa. Services will be from the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 1024 N. Market St. Berwick Pa. 18603, on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00am with her son-in-law Lynn Carr officiating . Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery.
