Cole, Carol Sue, of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born June 5, 1938 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Thomas and Mary (nee Groth) Dalton and entered into rest Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Sycamore Village Assisted Living in Swansea, Illinois at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 6 days. She is preceded in death by, her parents, two (2) siblings, Thomas Dalton and Jerry Dalton, and one (1) close friend Mary Ann Morris. She is survived by her husband Thomas Cole, two (2) children, Jonathan (Paul de la Cruz) Cole, Edward (Melanie) Cole. four (4) siblings, Shirley Brunk, Rosemary Dalton, Robert Dalton and Mary Dalton, one (1) close friend, Sylvia Marsh, along with numerous extended family and friends. Sue was a former nun who volunteered at the Feed My People food pantry. She also loved reading, going on walks and spending time with her family. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation Monday, July 15, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 10301 Big Bend Rd. Kirkwood, Missouri.
