Stevie is survived by the love of his life – Lynette Downey, Faithful Companion – Woofie, Brother – Robert (Diane) Downey, John (Lisa) Downey, Sisters – Terrie (Tom) Kuenker, Genevieve (John) Appleton, Mary Brown, Nanette (John) Kiene, Father and Mother-in-law – Alan and Joyce Taylor, Step-Mother – Dee Cotner -Downey, Step-Brother – Rich (Nicole) Cotner, Step-Sister – Diane (Tom) Spence, Brother-in-law – Christopher Taylor, Sister-in-law – Wendy (Don) Matzker, and Match Maker – Aunt Frankie. He was a Nephew, Cousin, Uncle, Great-Uncle, and Friend to all. Stevie was preceded in death by his Parents – Thomas and Helen Downey, Brother – Thomas Downey III and Step-Brother – Michael Cotner. Stevie was a retired member of the Carpenter’s Union local 97. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing and hunting. He was also a St. Louis Cardinals fan and GO CHEIFS!
