Nacida en Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Soraya Mendoza fallecio el 31 de mayo de 2019 en Houston, Texas. Le sobreviven sus hijos Soraya Mejia, Michael Rendon, Monica Chavez, Angel Rendon y Theresa Castro; nietos Kimberly Mejia, Jayden Mejia, Kaylynn Mejia, Nathan Chavez, Aiden Chavez y Kiana Mejia. Tambien la sobreviven sus hermanos Enrique Mendoza y Horacio Mendoza. Soraya Mendoza disfrutó sirviendo al Señor. Su pasatiempo era tejer.
