Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Mooney Wellford, SC Shirley Ann Fortner Mooney, 80, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019. She was the daughter of the late LB Fortner and Marie Morrow Fortner and the widow of Clarence Lafoye Mooney. Survivors include two sons, Scott Mooney and Mike Pollard; friend and companion of nineteen years, Fred Skipper; a brother, Don Fortner; a sister, Lois Stringer; four grandchildren, Brandy and Blake Pollard, Eric and Josh Mendez; and a great-grandchild, Kenzley Pollard. She was predeceased by a brother, Billy Joe Fortner; and a sister, Carolyn Medlin. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Wofford officiating. The family will receive friends from 10AM until 11AM prior to the service. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
