Shanell’s Obituary Shanell Denise Reid, 35, affectionately known as “Missy” daughter of Anthony “AJ” and Deborah Parker was born on March 8, 1984 and on July 16, 2019 Shanell departed this life suddenly. Shanell was predeceased by her brother Deshawn parker who passed away 13 years ago and they had a very close bond. A native of Suffolk, she attended Suffolk Public Schools. Shanell was baptized at a young age at First Baptist Church Orlando. She was employed with Comfort Care In Home Services where she was the devoted caregiver to Annie Jones until the very end of their sudden departure together. Missy believed and lived by her promise to help people. She would literally give the coat off her back to a stranger that did not have one of their own. She would also give you her last dime. She loved her family especially her nieces and nephews. Missy decided a few months ago that she would find peace within herself by apologizing to everyone that she felt that she had wronged and that took a big heart to do so. Missy loved music, dance and overall having a great time. She was a free spoken, beautiful person both inside and out with a heart of GOLD. Shanell leaves to cherish her fondest memories, her beloved parents Anthony “Jerome” and Deborah Parker. Sisters Catina Ralph (Anthony) and Jakeisha Parker. Brothers Phillip Thorne, Terrence Parker, Anthony Parker, Arthur Holland (Shirley) all of Suffolk and Brandon Sessoms (Rena) of Maryland. Grandmothers Gladys Parker and Ella Mae Myrick. Aunts Shirley Baker, Vanessa Thorne, Annette Thorne, Linda Parker, Paula Woodley, Gloria Williams, Valerie Jones, Nakita Myrick, Cynthia Myrick, Valerie Baker, and Patricia Almond. Uncles Richard Thorne, James Thorne (Joan), Rev. Emanuel Myrick (Elayne), Anthony Thorne, Vincent Thorne, Clayton Parker ( Janice), Willie Parker, Freddie Goodman, Kevin Myrick, Alvin Almond, Calvin Almond, Van Almond, Pete Almond Javoun Parker and Tracy Cross.
