Scott E. Mickle, age 56 years, resident of Cairo, N.Y. for many years, formerly of Middleburgh, N.Y. passed away on July 13, 2019. Scott was born on December 10, 1962 in Schenectady, N.Y, and is the son of the late Arlington Mickle and Sylvia Bordeau of Middleburgh. A lifetime area resident of Cairo, N.Y., Scott was laborer, and was employed by many different companies in the area. He was very involved and loved his 13 grandchildren with all his heart. Besides his father, Scott is predeceased by his son Lukas Higgins, Sr, two sisters Terry Porter and Shelly Mickle. Besides his Mother, Scott is survived by his life partner of 31 years Shannon Higgins, two sons Brett Mickle and Dustin Higgins, two daughters Katy Mickle and Cassadie Higgins, 13 grandchildren whom he adored, he is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, and a large extended family. A celebration of Scott’s life will be held at The Community Life Church, 20 W. Main Street, Catskill, New York, with Pastor Rick Snowden officiating, at a day and time to be announced.
