SAHEED “DIEGO” MOHAMMED January 4, 1941 – July 27, 2019 We are here today to celebrate the Life of Diego. Diego loved cards, horses and people. People would say of him “he never met a stranger.” He thought of every person as another human deserving of kindness and respect. He had a habit of bringing a home to people who needed one. He goes on to join all of the friends and family he lost over his lifetime, including his father, Haitool; his mother, Korisha; his brothers, Shaffik, Sheriff, Beng, and Frank; and his sister, Tina. Most importantly, he goes on to join his one and only beloved son, Eddy. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Polly; his two daughters, Judy (Vincent) and June (Nelson); his daughter-in-law, Suzann, and his remaining siblings, Ray, Latif, Salim, Doyna, Moya, and Maudy. He will truly be missed by all of his nine grandchildren, Daniel, Serena, Dana, Shanequa, Navi, Tiffany, Kaleed, Juliana, and Amir; and by his seven great-grandchildren, Arriana, Dalynn, Ray’ya (Serena), Nova (Shanequa), Nathan (Navi), Marley and Baeli (Tiffany), who knew him briefly but will remember him always. And of course, “The First.” To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Saheed Mohammed please visit our Sympathy Store.
