Rudy’s Obituary Wellford, SC Elder Rudy Daniel Frye, husband of Patricia Marie Frye for over 60 years, son of the late Russell and Alice Frye passed Tuesday, July 23, 2019 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was a member of Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center in Greer. He served as a member in the United States Army. He retired from Leigh Fibers Industries. During his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching his favorite NFL team play the Dallas Cowboys, “How bout dem boys”! Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Elder Frye along with his wife Patricia are his children; Richard (Della) Frye of Inman, SC, Michael (Mary) Frye of Wellford, SC, Cynthia Frye of Duncan, SC and De’Anita (Bishop Gettis) Jackson of Greenville, SC; brothers, Lindsey (Evelyn) Frye of Inman, SC and Alvin (Julie) Frye of Spartanburg, SC; 19 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Bret Frye and daughters Sabrina Chambers and Cecilia Frye; also, his brothers Freddie and Henry Frye and sister Francis Throne. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 29, 2019 2:00 PM at Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center located at 1515 S. Highway 14 Greer, SC 29651 with burial in the Mt. Lebanon View Cemetery off Highway 11 in Campobello. Please keep the family in your prayers during their time of bereavement. Read More
