Roy Delbert Marlin, age 85 of Searcy, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Searcy. He was born June 4, 1934 in Monette, Arkansas to Nathan Lono Marlin and Robbie Elizabeth McLeod Marlin. He attended First General Baptist Church of Searcy, was a 33rd Degree Mason and worked many years as a cabinet maker. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anna Marlin; one son, Russell Marlin and wife Serita of Benton; one daughter, Carmen Winders and husband Barry of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two grandchildren, Libby McCutcheon and husband Dylan of Burfordville, Missouri, Rachel Marlin of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Melton of Harrisburg, Illinois, Keelan Melton of Harrisburg, Illinois; two brothers, Dewayne Marlin of Velvet Ridge, Arkansas, Don Marlin of Van Nuys, California; and one sister, Diane Harris and husband Denton of Denmark, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lono and Robbie Marlin; and several siblings. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at First General Baptist Church of Searcy. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.
