Ronald Franklin Floyd, 69, died on Monday, July 8, at University of Maryland Medical Center at Baltimore. Mr. Floyd served honorably in the U.S. Army and was employed as a computer specialist. He was a member of the Easton VFW and enjoyed motorcycles, cars, fishing and traveling, especially to Florida. He is survived by Dawn and Dewayne Stewart of Tilghman Island, Cassidy and Savannah Stewart, his sister, Irene Sterling (Dave) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert N. Floyd, Sr. and Freda Cooper Dowdy and brother, Herbert Floyd. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11 AM, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A., 200 S. Harrison St., Easton, where friends may call one-hour prior from 10 to 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be held at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery at 1 PM.
