Rocky’s Obituary FARMINGTON – Rocky Albert Logan of Farmington passed away July 26 at Community Manor at the age of 62. He was born July 29, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to Robert Logan and the late Laura Jane (Hightower) Logan Bay. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Leroy Bay, his uncle, Harold Hightower, his aunt, Ruth W. Baum, and his grandparents. He is survived by his father, Robert Logan, one half sister, Frankie Jean Logan, his aunts, Mary Reed, Carole Cavataio and Hilde Hightower and many cousins and friends. He attended St. Thomas Academy for the Gifted and graduated from Sumner High School in South St. Louis. He attended UMSL and studied chemistry and worked in chemical labs. He spent most of his days growing up in St. Louis, Cahokia and Dupo, IL. Just recently, Rocky was diagnosed with cancer and declined quickly. Rocky’s words were “thank you”, “real good”, and “no complaints” to all his caregivers. His family extends thanks to all his caregivers at Carriage Manor and Community Manor. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Cozean Memorial Chapel and Crematory. Read More
