Saturday, AUGUST 10, 2019, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. VISITATION: 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Saturday, AUGUST 10, 2019, at the funeral home. Robert “Tooter” Spruill, age 67, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, in De Leon, Texas. He was born on May 20, 1952, in Gorman, Texas, to Robert Milton and Gwendolen Marie (Amos) Spruill. In February, 1992, he was united in marriage to Suetta Rogers in Comanche, Texas. Robert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved trot-line fishing and going to the Auction Barn just to observe. He liked fixing small engines, visiting with friends, and would lend anyone a helping hand whenever needed. Tooter was a Christian. He was saved and baptized at Hasse Baptist Church years ago. He is survived by his wife, Sherie Spruill of Comanche; son, Wesley Spruill of Comanche; brothers, Jerry Spruill and wife Melinda of Lubbock and Calvin Spruill and wife Shelly of Comanche; sisters, Debra Kay Harris and husband Tony of Bastrop and Cindy Thomas and husband Doug of Comanche; (two) grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marie Spruill.
