Robert’s Obituary Robert T. Chuplis Robert T. Chuplis, 40, Girardville, passed away unexpectedly after a tragic accident Sunday in Girardville. Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Robert and Judith Stanton Chuplis both of Girardville. He was employed as a heavy machine operator for the H and K Group at Pottsville Materials. He was a member of the former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Girardville. Robert enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, kayaking and hiking at Rickets Glenn State Park. His favorite hobby was welding, but most of all he loved spending time with his nephew David. He was preceded in death by his brother David in 2018, his paternal grandparents Anthony and Alberta Chuplis and his maternal grandparents Thomas and Bernice Stanton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion Sadie E. Hart and nephew David G. Chuplis, both of Girardville as well as his faithful dogs Apollo and Harley. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
