Chester, WV. Robert O. “Bob” Orr, 80 of Chester, passed away peacefully at his home while in the care of his loving family on Saturday, July 6, 2019, following a lengthy illness. A son of the late Felix M. Orr and Noami Handley Hussler, he was born in Weirton on March 15, 1939. Bob had worked as a self-employed welder for several years. He leaves his loving family, his wife of 60 years, Blondenia Smith Orr who he married on January 16, 1959; his children, Bonnie (Terry) Foden of East Liverpool, Julie Orr of Ravenna, OH., Robert “Bill” (Susan) Orr of New Manchester, Dale (Tanja) Orr of Phoenix, James Orr of Chester, Benjamin (Jaque) Orr of Phoenix, Keith Orr of Chester, Raymond (Susan) Orr of McAlester, OK., and Mark (Lindsay) Orr of New Manchester; two sisters, Marcia Whitcomb of Seattle, WA., and Elaine Burleson of Las Vegas; and seventeen grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, one granddaughter, Desiree Goodwin preceded him in death. In fulfilling Bob’s wishes no services are planned and he is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
