Reiko Abe Gingery – age 84 of Farwell, passed away at her home on Friday, July 12, 2019. She was born in Japan on July 15, 1934. Reiko married Dennis Wayne Gingery on November 5, 1958 in Tokyo, Japan. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2016. Reiko loved to cook and feed people; loved passing out candy on Halloween; was a florist at Helen Tice’s Flowers; loved to grow vegetables in her garden; and especially loved to play “Pachinko” (Slot Machines) at the casino. She is survived by her daughter, Rumie and her husband Curtis Martinez; and her beloved dog “Denni”, named after her late husband. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 16th, 2019 at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens with burial to follow.
